Three Simple Ideas You Can Use RIGHT NOW
To Control The Effects Of Stress
First, I want to talk about stress and the impact it's having on your life.
The first thing you need to know what stress is. It’s cortisol. Everybody say cortisol. That’s a hormone. Stress really is cortisol. I’m going to make them synonymous. I’m just going to tell you they’re basically the same thing. Stress is cortisol. Now the major evil of cortisol are all these health problems. Anybody in the room ever have any issues with indigestion or digestion of any kind? Acid reflux? Any kind of IBS type symptoms? Constipation, diarrhea? We all know what indigestion or digestive disorders are, right?
How about struggles with low energy? Signs of anxiety? Signs of depression? High blood pressure anybody? Diabetic issues anybody? It’s all stress related. It’s all stress related. These things come from having high levels of cortisol.
Now, let me kind of give you an example. When carbohydrates go up in our body, we all know blood sugar goes up. We know that. That’s basic med, right? When blood sugar goes up, insulin goes up. When insulin goes up, the body can go into automatic fat storage. That makes sense for the weight loss part in my life. But listen to this.
When insulin is high, that is where insomnia lives, your inability lives, anxiety lives. But when insulin drops and it’s down here, this is where depression lives, fatigue lives, low energy lives. We don’t realize it. We don’t realize what the insulin levels are doing to our body.
Now, when insulin goes up, it has to do what? It has to come down. When a drop in insulin occurs or increase, decrease, increase, decrease, increase, decrease, both of these produce stress in the body. The stress is what leads to poor health. The stress in my body is throwing off the hormone balance and the hormone balance in my body is why I couldn’t move. It’s why you can’t move sometimes. It’s why it hurts. It’s why you have inflammations, why you have joint pain; it’s why you’re struggling sometimes with diabetic issues, why you have acid reflux, why you can’t sleep at night. But nobody’s teaching us this stuff. Yet it’s fascinating to know.
Now here’s another one. If stress goes up in any way, cortisol is going to go up. But cortisol can only go so high and then it’s going to begin to steal. Ladies, it’s steals from your progesterone. So if cortisol goes up and progesterone and estrogen and supposed to look like this and when cortisol increases, progesterone drops, see what that is? It’s an imbalance in hormones.
Now that you know what stress really is and what it can do it you, I want to give you three simple ideas of what you can do right now to control the affects that stress has on you so you can take your life back.
First, you need to be aware. You need to be aware of the stress in your life that’s causing the cortisol to increase. Anybody have stress? Do you have a husband or wife? Kids, grandkids? Job, business? Friend, neighbor? Do you have stress?
What I discovered in my own life changed everything. Do you you know what I discovered? That stress was the culprit. What was stress doing? What was it increasing in my body? Cortisol. This is very important to me when you leave here that you learn something in the short amount of time we have together. You know stress is the culprit. Most of us don’t know stress is whacking out hormones and we don’t know that the main one that’s the trouble. Any of you know what happens when insulin goes up? Irritability, insomnia. Anybody know what happens when it drops? Depression, low energy, fatigue.
When insulin goes up and it drops, that’s stress. What happens when stress is produced in my body? It produces cortisol. You guys are getting this. You just need to be aware of the stress that is in your life, which is causing cortisol to increase. How many of you discovered you might have a little stress in your life by the scores? That’s usually the case.
If you have high stress levels in your life, what’s that doing to your cortisol levels? It’s raising them. Exactly. Let’s find out where you are with regard to your stress levels and your health. How many have ever experienced any kind of digestive issue – acid reflux? How many have ever experienced any kind of insomnia? Keep your hands up for a second because you may not know what insomnia is. Do you know you’re not supposed to wake up when you roll over at night? That’s insomnia. If you can’t go to sleep, that’s insomnia. If you can’t stay asleep, that’s insomnia.
Anybody ever deal with any kind of high blood pressure? Anybody have joint pain? Insomnia? You guys this is all due to cortisol but nobody knew. So I told you if you are aware of stress, you can begin to control the affects it’s having on you. So now you’re aware. But I also want you know the number ones. This is second thing that I’m going to give you that you can plug in right now today.
The number ones? The number one reason why you want to control it and the number one way to control it. See multiple areas benefit when cortisol’s controlled. Yeah, you lose weight a lot easier. You can’t lose weight I told you. When you’re over 35, you can lose weight if cortisol’s an issue. But general health – ladies, hot flashes, night sweats, gone when you control cortisol levels. Guys, that expanding waistline that you don’t know where the heck it came from, gone when you start to control cortisol levels. I tell guys you’ll get the V shape back again. I’ve had them say what if I never had the V shape in the first place? I’m telling you, you start to get the V shape because this extra stuff around here after 35 comes because of cortisol.
What would happen if you had mental clarity, impeccable memory, if you woke up fully rested so you had the energy to do what you want to do in your business, in your organization, in your family? How different would it be if you had no more pain in your joints?
That gives you a few of the whys you’d want to control that you have stress has in your body. But what about the number one how-to? Anybody want to guess what the number one how-to is to control the effect stress has on your body?
Would you guess exercise? It would be a great guess and I get that one a lot, exercise. Exercise is right up there. What else? People a lot of times will say I’ve heard about you need to relax your mind. That’s a good guess too. Get plenty of sleep. You do need to get plenty of sleep. That keeps the stress level down.
So we know that exercise helps and we know that relaxing your mind helps. We know that getting sleep helps. This is all kind of things we’ve all heard about. But here’s the thing. How are you going to relax your mind if can’t sleep? And how are you going to sleep if the hormones are keeping things out of balance so you can’t sleep? When you get insulin into balance, you can sleep. When you get insulin into balance, the inflammation goes away. When you get insulin into balance, you don’t have that remember what I said, high – anxiety, irritability, insomnia. It’s gone. What I’d say about low? Depression, low energy. Gee, it’s gone. When insulin is in balance, your hormones are in balance and all these symptoms that I’m talking to you about; members have told us they’re gone.
I can’t make the claim they’ll be gone, but I can tell you now thousands upon thousands of members that I’ve seen do this, the symptoms are gone. All we need to do is put insulin is balance. That’s it. That’s the number one thing you do to get rid of all these effects that have been coming from stress being at a high level in your body. When you balance insulin levels, everything’s controlled. How do you balance insulin levels?
A simple eating plan. Meats, fruits, veggies, starches. I don’t even leave out starches. Meats, fruits, veggies, starches. With the right plan, you’re going to see results in your body in two days. You will feel the health benefits in your body in less than two weeks. It will usually happen within the first week. We have people saying to us, “I slept all night.” Or people say, “I didn’t even know I didn’t feel good until I felt great”. Because you don’t know the affects that stress is having on your body.
Now, I said you needed to be aware. I said I was going to give you three pieces of information you can use immediately. One was you needed to be aware. Are you more aware than when I walked in here? Okay, good. Two, I said you need to know the number ones. Number one reason why you’d want to control cortisol levels. Did anybody here come up something that they could benefit from? And the number one way to control the effect stress has on your body. Do you remember what it was? Balance insulin, exactly.
So the third thing is to believe you can do it. It’s not just me standing up here. I done it. I couldn’t believe how great I felt. By the time I got to the end of all this pain and started doing all this research, I actually began to start to feel better. I was back functioning in my life. And when I started balancing the insulin levels, it was like my mind cleared, my memory cleared up, my foggy brain was gone. It was incredible. But it wasn’t just me. This is how it worked for other people.
See, what we’re doing now is we help individuals, groups, and organizations reduce their stress levels and balance their hormones. What ends up happening is they lose 20 pounds in 30 days. They get rid of acid reflux. They get off of insulin. They get off of high-pressure medication. They don’t have digestive issues anymore. They sleep through the night. Their energy is through the roof. It’s incredible.
The third thing for you to know today in order for you to control the effect stress has on your body so you can take your life back, is to believe that you can do it.
